Join us for an evening of Covid safe theatre under the stars as ACTivate presents Cabaret for Change and our award winning production of Into the Woods jr.  Experience this adaptation of Stephen Sondheim’s and James Lapine’s groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical.  Into the Woods JR. features all of your favorite characters — The Baker and Baker;s Wife , Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack , and the Witch. Before going into the woods with us, join our artists ages 12-18 from all over Central Kentucky as they perform songs, spoken word and monologues that explore themes of acceptance, change and hope , Donations will be collected at Cabaret for Change and prior to the event for Brother's Run which was established in memory of brothers Mason & Ethan Gilbert to promote school programs providing adolescent mental health, suicide prevention and awareness.

 

WHERE

All performances of Cabaret for Change and Into the Woods jr. will take place at MoonDance Amphitheater, located at 1152 Monarch St, Lexington, KY 40513.

Saturday, May 29 at 7:00pm

Sunday, May 30  at 2:00pm

$15 Adults

$10 Seniors and Students 

***Ticket prices are for both Cabaret for Change ( ACT I ) and Into the Woods jr. ( ACT II) . We are collecting donations for Brothers Run as part of our mission for Cabaret for Change. 

  • Purchase your tickets at www.activate.ludas.com.

  • Tickets will be sold at the door but we prefer purchasing tickets ahead of time so we may expedite the process of registration for all participants for covid safety.

  • You do not need a physical ticket, you will just check in at will-call at the entrances of the Amphitheatre, then an usher will see you to the seating area.

  • We will set groups with chairs to the back of the seating area so  you don’t block the view of others. The first row will be dedicated to parties with blankets.

 

 

SAFETY PROCEDURES UPDATED

 Masks outdoors in crowds less than 1,000 are not required.

WHAT DO YOU BRING?

  • Please bring your own blanket or chair to sit on.

  • Food and drink are permitted, we just ask that you only eat while socially distanced in your seating area, put your mask back on as you are finished eating, and be sure to clean up your space following the performance. 

  • No alcoholic beverages are permitted. 

 

PARKING

During the times of our performances, parking is available in the office buildings parking lots surrounding the amphitheatre. There is also street parking nearby.
